Nothing you’ve ever added to your Harley works like the Hypercharger™. This awesome, head-turning air cleaner looks red hot - and it works as good as it looks. Totally automatic, the vacuum pod opens the butterflies as your motor needs more air. The serviceable and replaceable filter element is supplied to us by K&N, the finest filter on the market. Because of the specially designed filter, the Hypercharger™ is unaffected by even the heaviest rainfall. No air cleaner you can buy will outflow or outperform the Hypercharger™.
Second Generation Hypercharger™ Pictured here is the New style case. Notice the diamond shaped, removable bearing carriers. This design permits the use of hi-tech, replaceable, Igus bearings, to insure long, trouble free operation.
The Hypercharger™ Air Cleaner is available for carbureted and EFI Twin Cam 88 and 88B engines. The new adapter makes installation a breeze, as several of the stock breather and mounting components are retained.
Note: Installation on '01 Softail and '02-'03 Twin Cam with EFI requires drilling a hole in manifold for vacuum supply.

If you haven't already done so, you need to make sure you re-jet the carb...or, as I did, have the Harley dealer do it. When I tried to install it, it simply died...not enough gas for the amount of air this thing gulps. The H-charger is fairly easy to install istelf, but if you don't know much about carbs, forget rejetting. Once going though, these things are amazing...my Sporty is MUCH quicker, and rides a LOT smoother, AND its very high on the Cool factor. Love the little butterflies opening and closing. I can tell you from experience that it was not an issue. No problems at all, the product works great. I noticed plenty of extra power after install. My only beef with the product is that I am a pretty short guy and I am constantly banging my knee into the back corner of this thing.
