The chrome piece brings out that forgotten area nicely, although a braided stainless steel hose cover, if included in the kit, would have completed the look. I would have paid a bit extra for that. I was a little disappointed to find the chrome plating on the reservoir cover 'bubbled' after a few months of extreme hot weather and engine heat. WARNING!!! If you have this, keep an eye on the plastic(yes, plastic!) cover. Kuryakyn knows this unit to be defective and warns that cracking and breaking up of reservoir cover may lead to total failure of unit, and is planning on a fix. Please check it often!
