I had to remove the original padding as it was a little too thick to put this piece on. Otherwise it looks good quite big compared to the original brake pad. (4 stars) reviewed on 08/09/08 byLance Parrish (lancejparrish) from Charleston, SC, United States, for a 2008 900 Vulcan Custom wrote: I think it adds a nice subtle touch to the bike. You can't install them with the stock rubber boot in place. you either need to remove the boot and put in a spacer of some kind, or you can do what I did and cut the back of the stock boot off and leave the front in place to fill in the gap. Took a little adjusting here and there, but it went on with relative ease. I just wish that the screws holding the two halves together were hidden so that they weren't visible from the front. I think it would give it a much cleaner look. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
