This was somewhat of a disappointment. There is a black metal plate that covers that area, so you can hardly see the cap.

Looks really good. When you touch it you can tell that the chrome is pulling away from the cap, it hasn't cracked at all yet. When it does I will get another.

I actually have the whole kit which includes the cover for the reservoir, and the cover for the part down by the foot lever. Very nice item, and people will notice it! The more chrome on the beast the better, stock bikes have tooooooooo many black dull areas, and this will help set those areas out.
