CruiserCustomizing Staff Pick

Designed expressly for installing our Silver Bullets or Mini Bullets on Metric Cruiser fender struts. This kit makes it easy! Specialized hollow mounting studs are 3/8"-16 on one end to thread into the light body and M8-1.25 on the other end to install in place of a fender strut mounting bolt on most metric cruisers. Light sold separately, select from any of the Silver Bullets with 3/8"-16 hollow mounting bolts or any of our L.E.D. Mini Bullets.

Note: These will not fit a Honda 750 Spirit, as the Spirit uses a 10mm bolt

M8-1.25 is very common on Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha fender struts, but you should contact Kuryakyn to confirm the suitability of this kit before ordering.

Bought these because they were needed to strut mount my kury leds on my VTX. They work as advertised, but the they cross threaded very easily. Had to re-thread to get them to work. Be careful during install.

These made my life much easier. On my 2007 Nomad I had to drill out the nut on the reflector bracket so the new stud would pass thru it. The lights had to be threaded on the studs before attaching; I couldn't spin them on after attaching the studs. To do that the studs had be able to pass thru the reflector bracket nuts that were welded to the bracket which held the brake line, and I wanted to keep all of that. Note 2/15/2010 Don't use the ant seize. The lights won't stay in place and you are constantly adjusting them. To the extent every time I hit a bump in the road I had to adjust them. Note 4/5/2010 I'm not happy with these. I never could keep them adjusted. I ended up breaking two sets of these stud mounts. I will not buy these again.

These bolts are great. They are long enough to be mounted through the fender and backrest mounts. So much so that I actually trimmed the bolt inside the fender. The light mounting side of the bolt is excellent with a second nut that tightens to the light to make it even more secure.
