Another fine product from Kuryakyn! However, BUYER BEWARE! Do not buy this item unless you are planning on completing the set across your handlebars... I bought this item first. The chrome on this was so bright and shiney that it made the rest of my handlebars look bad. :-) This is a good product, easy to install and was worth the $$.

I purchased this piece in addition to the kuryakyn master cylinder cover and brake levers. Together, these parts finished the look of my handlebars. They look great! That said, I do not recommend installing the clutch perch cover or the master cylinder cover alone; These parts were designed to complement eachother. Installation was moderately easy owing to the fact that the mirror has to come off and re-installation of the mirror is a pain. Luckily, I also purcahased a nice set of mirrors to replace teh OEM mirrors, so the old mirrors had to come off anyway. This might be a consideration if you have any intention of replacing your mirrors and covering the clutch perch. The master cylinder cover does not require you remove the right mirror. Also, I had to loosen the clutch perch clamp and move it ever so slightly to accomodate, yet this was not that big of a deal.

HAD TO GRIND DOWN THE BACK SIDE OF COVER TO REMOVE EXCESS METAL AROUND DRILLED HOLES . BOLT STEM WAS TOO SHORT FOR ACORN NUT TO GRAB ON TO. IT WOULD OF BEEN A FIVE STAR PIECE IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORK AT IT. MORE CHROME IS A GOOD THING. KEEP IT ON TWO !
