Since their introduction for Harley-Davidson models in 1992, The Hypercharger has been widely recognized as one of the most cost effective performance modifications available. When the demand arose for adaptation to the Metric Crusiers we expected similar increases, but never expected to see the gain common on these engines.
So far, we have developed kits for the single carb - Kawasaki 800, and 1500 Vulcan, Yamaha Road Star and Yamaha V Star. Kits for more cruisers are also being developed.

Aside from the desirable gains in performance, the Hypercharger is one of the most striking enhancements you can make to your bike. The cases are beautifully chromed, and trap doors and butterflies are available in a wide array of colors.

These kits contain an all chrome Hypercharger, mounting kit, and carburetor jetting necessary for a complete, sanitary installation.

So I bought my XVS650A about 4 months back and ive done about 9,000km on the bike since then. Ive been on one without this and mine with this, huge difference, its great. But the guy I bought the bike from said that it might need servicing soon and I was wondering if anybody on here knew what was required? I've done a bit of searching on the net and havn't had much luck!

Love the look of this beast. Like everyone else has said, the provided instructions suck. Did the install and tune myself. Not difficult at all if you have any mechanical knowledge whatsoever. Got a black trap door to match the bike and add some contrast. Looks sick! I already had a set of Cobra slash-cut straights on the bike. Was running their stage 1 jet kit. I think I had the 096 jets in it. Ordered the Thunder stage 3 kit as per everyone's recommendations, but I ended up getting the h/c 4 days before the stage 3 kit was to arrive. I'm not a very patient person so I installed it right away and used the 122.5 jets and adjusted the needles per http://www.650ccnd.com/hc.htm. The h/c instructions say to adjust the pms to 1.5 turns out. I followed the website instructions and kicked them to 3.5 because they were already at 3 for the pipes.
