I got it for Xmass, very nice chrome I mounted mine upside down.I just enlarged the two bottom license plate holes and it bolted to exsisting holes in frame. I ran the wires through the top hole useing a grommet in the fender hole that I drilled under the top hole.

This will definately transform the back end of your machine. It is solid made and sleek with the lines. Lights are not extremely bright, but still show up when needed. If you are buying this for a Honda VTX, it will have to be mounted upside down so that the lights are on top. Also on the VTX you will have to drill a hole in the fender to run the wires into your light system if you choose to hook up the lights on the plate frame. This took all longer than expected and some work. By the time we were all done with wiring and running under the fender it was about two hours. I am a little picky on how I do my stuff though. This is why I gave the install a little more than easy. Another thing to be aware of is that it will take off a little bit of the top and and sides of your plate. If you are worried about the state at the top of the plate being cut off slightly (about a third) or the sticker etc. and have rules in your state for this, then you might want to use your judgement on this. ...
