Other laydown and curved plate holders didn't seem to fit right but this one looks good to me. Very study construction and high quality chrome. I am very happy with this frame and although I have tried to replace it with other laydown/curved plate holders in the past (by Kuryakyn and Barons both), this is the one I end up remounting each time. But beware you Aussie buyers as the cover frame will not cover our Australian license plates. Our plates are a fraction longer and you will have to trim the ends of the plate to fit the frame also the corner screw holes on our plates do not match up with the frame. So the backing plate fits good which I have used and fixed the license plate to it and left off the outer frame as I was not happy about trimming the ends of the plate.
