Mounting was fairly easy. I added this license plate frame and the Pro One bullet marker lights at the same time. So and I was able to use the 2 existing holes where the taillight and blinker wires used the run through. I left the grommets in place and used larger fender washers inside the fender rather than the smaller washers that came in the kit. The mounting bracket is flat and rather thick metal so I was not able to shape it to the contour of the fender. However the license plate fame covers it and does not look bad at. Run the bolts that hold the frame on through a few times before you do anything. The threads are rather tight due to the chrome dipped and a pain to thread and line up everything up once it is mounted. It might be best to use a standard bolt if you have an extra square head ΒΌ' bolt around so you don't strip out the allen-head screws. All and all a good deal and really makes and back of the bike look smooth.
