At night it really fills the void of my stock headlight. That really makes up for the pain during the install. Kuryakyn lacks on the instructions writing for this. the phone calls to them only made it that more interesting. One call to CC and they were able help. If you plan on buying this and need help with wiring please contact me. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 12/13/06 byRooster Cooper (sc99p) from Austin, TX, United States, for a Black 2005 650 V-Star Classic wrote: Product looks amazing and is exceptionally easy to install onto the bike. Wiring it was different story though, and took much longer than it should have, with much troubleshooting and second guessing. The Kury install instructions are vague at best and horribly insufficient at worst. I finally got it right --- a few notes: for my bike I did not need the two black ground wires from the Kury universal relay and switch harness. The red wire was wired into the low beam wire inside the headlight assembly (green wire for those with VStars). You will HAVE to add a diode to the indicator light under the speedo housing, otherwise you will never get the lights to bling correctly. You will also need a load equalizer wired into the turn signals. It's not so much that the turn signals aren't that bright, as they just arne't that substantial in size --- either way, they are not enough to really be seen. Overall, a great look for the bike. The bar was easy to isntall but wiring was more difficult. Finally looks awesome in the bike. Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The mount for the V star classic is a good design but the whole assembly was over 300 bucks. .....but i still love them. Looks nice. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful.
