Kuryakyn highway pegs

I was able to buy a used set of KY-7999s from a friend...at a deep discount; love 'em.  It's so nice to have another place to put your feet/legs on those longer runs.

Top Notch Pegs

Got it today and mounted these Kuryakyn Dually offset pegs on a Cobra freeway bar. I mounted the pegs in 40 minutes.  Since there are several angles and some bolts are obstructed based on how you adjust the position of each angle, it can be a bit tedious to get the right fit - especially if you used loc-tite and have to break the seal to readjust.  I test drove them and spend another few minutes making some adjustments.  I will still need to go back and tweak my set-up to make it uniform on each side.  Be prepared to spread 'em wide as the offset clamps add some distance to the pegs.  They look great and I like the way they fold up and down.  They really look like quality.  I haven't gone on a long ride yet, but I think my @$$ will appreciate some reliefe in being able to stretch my legs.

These are really good highway pegs for riders with large feet or who wear military combat boots. I got these in the ISO version not currently offered anymore. This highway peg gets a 3 star installation rating because it can be a pain getting them lined up and angled just the right way without them slipping and needing to be readjusted. Once you adjust them they are awesome on those long trips. And if you ever need to change the position of your pegs than there is no need to buy new ones. You can just loosen a couple bolts and they adjust up, down, left, right, side to side very easily. They are very well rounded and easy to change to suit your needs as time goes by. Installation is maybe 30 minutes if you are slow. I did them outside in high wind and had no issues. The vibration dampening version is incredible as well. Both standard and ISO versions make great buys. You can interchange parts as time goes by if your tastes change as well. I highly recommend these for anyone with large ...

They installed easy. My only Grip is the Chrome weathered fast and bolt for pegs rust, not stainless steel. These are a pain in the butt to detail/clean. Hard to get in between the rubber to clean much less polish. Look great out of the box and do the job. Upkeep is another story.

Great footpegs - really makes a difference on rides over 100 miles. I carry a set of allen keys with me so I can adjust them to comfort on a particular ride, e.g. if it's raining, I prefer to have my feet higher off the road than normal. With these adjustable pegs, it takes me two minutes to change setting and I'm on my way again.

Easy to install, but not so easy to get both sides equal on my highway bars. Waiting to see how they are on a long ride. (Calgary to Sturgis, and back) I'll take some wrenches with me just in case, but they seem solid, and I hope I won't need to use the tools.

I was impressed with the heft, sturdyness and quality of chrome. I had to order a different size clamp but they have a good selection of high quality clamps so make sure of the size of your bars. The large foot pads are more comfortable than round pegs.

These pegs are great. I wanted something adjustable so I had some flexibility in where I could place my feet on the long rides. The installation was a piece of cake, once I figured out where I wanted to place them on the highway bar. Great product.
