Tried many cheap highway pegs, but they all lasted only a few months before they started rusting. My bike is definitely not a garage queen and sees about 15,000 miles a year in sun, rain, and even snow. If i had to do over i may have gone with the straight mount. For the extra $10 I figured I'd go with the offset. After mounting and adjusting they are mounted in almost the same location as they would be if i had gone with the straight mount. They are great pegs though.
