(5 stars) reviewed on 04/18/06 byTechie (ValkValor) from Junction City, OR, United States, for a 2003 (Black) 1500 Valkyrie Standard wrote: Very nice looking comfy highway pegs. These work well mounted to the engine guard on the Valkyrie. I have mine mounted high enough that they will not scrape while cornering. No matter how long or short your legs are these will accomodate you with a wide range of adjustability. These are well-built and quite heavy with very high quality of chrome. It is nice to stretch out the legs and just cruise sometimes. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(4 stars) reviewed on 06/24/03 bytony (tragucci) from Corona, CA, US, for a 2003 1500 Valkyrie Standard wrote: when attaching the clamp to the curved porton of the crash bar the bolt that runs through the clamp and into the clevis gave me some problems. what I mean is on the right hand side of the bike if you placed the footpeg at 7 o'clock and applied any foot pressure, the clevis would loosen and you would have to toghten the main bolt again after you repositioned the clevis where you wanted it. On the left hand side of the bike, with the clevis in the same position, if you applied any foot pressure it would either tighten or stay where it was. It appears they threaded the clevis in the same direction for either side of the motorcycle which on one side(right) it would loosen and on the other side (left) it would tighten Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
