removing the orignal fopot peg was no problem   best to use  small needle nose pliers
foudn it easy to just install the adaptor first  before  screwing on the foot peg  make sure  you use locktie on the threads and check the small screw as both sidfes were loose
just tighten up the footpeg then jump on the bike and  set the angle of the foot peg    by  placing foot on it  and applying the brake  and  gear pedals
then tthighten up the foot peg until very tight
make sure the allen key is all the way in  so it doesnt slip of and scratch the side of the peg

bbottom line is they look great when matched up to other ISO products

and  you dont want to  fit floor boards  onto the bike

Beautiful and functional

These are really great-looking foot pegs, but you also need to purchase the pegs without male mounts and the Honda adapters. (If you buy the pegs with the male mount they will tip back at an unusable angle since they only fit Harleys.)  While not difficult to install, they will take longer than you'd imagine; they took me a little under an hour to mount, but that was partly due to there being no instructions with the adapters, so I lost time figuring things out on my own.  There are two tricky parts to the process. First, installing the sleeve into the hole on each adapter. (Depending on the size of your pins, you might not need these. But on my bike, unless you use the sleeves, the pins that hold the pegs in the clevis won't fit into the adapter holes tightly enough to keep the pegs from rattling around.).  The problem is that the sleeves seem like they are bigger than the holes and they won't just slide in--it turns out they will fit, but you have to pound each one in with a rubbe...
