They have a good look, and make for a wider field of vision than the mickeys. These are flat, so "objects in mirror are NOT closer than they appear". The install took about 10 minutes. I used threadlock on them, but I don't think it was as important as some of the previews say. For those of you (us) who don't care about the instructions, there's a tiny allen screw at the base of each mirror to keep them from spinning as you go down the road. The adapter is not made of the same metal as the original. It's much harder, so you'll want to give it a good crank or two to make it seat right.
