Great accessory for the VTX.They've saved the bike twice, when doubling my girlfriend,Ive overbalanced at walking speed and the bike fell over and only scratched the underside of the guards.

Bought my engine guards 2 years ago, love them, and I can tell you they work great, my ptob is, I had to lay the bike down hard in traffic last fall getting out of the way of Ambulance, one of the bolts broke, the other one bent, no a scratch on me or the cycle. However, now I can't get any replacement bolts, I have tried all kinds of hardware stores around me and Kuryakyn has no kits or bolts to replace my broken ones........so now what ??? I guess I can't use the engine guards anymore.........nice customer service Kuryakyn......very un happy about this........

Looks great ! I forgot to put kickstand down in the garage and it held the bike up. Hard to fold out pegs when you are in motion because there isn't anything to catch your foot on. Very comfortable on long rides. One of the peg covers recently feel off... I will see how customer service handles it and update.

Just got them. Installed them in the dark with a light. Amazed at how easy they went on. Not drilled for internal wiring, thought, like I they they said they would be for underneath bullet light installs to hide the wiring. Otherwise, look awesome. Can't wait to ride..

Fairly easy to install. Had to loosen brake pedal on the floorboard to screw off and on the bolt that mounts the engine guard. Its not too big nor sticks out too far. Looks GRRREAT. At 5'7" i may not need to extend the footpeg out further to be comfortable, but it does look good.
