Kuryakyn makes this now for the 1500 Classic ( I waited 3 months for Kuryakyn to get them in from manufacturing ), I was real impressed with the quality and the look. Real easy to put on. You remove the rubber pad and the stock board has 4 holes that align with the cover, you just screw it on and your done. It looks like its all one piece. Why pay hundreds on new boards when you really need is a new cover. I have now ordered the Kuryakyn passenger boards ( from Cruiser Customizing )to match and replace the Jardine boards
