(4 stars) reviewed on 08/07/05 byGreg (Mytee_Hercules) from Little Rock, AR, United States, for a 2002 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Very nice piece and well made. Didn't really come with directions on how to incorporate what looks to be some plate springs into the installation for proper fit ( I guessed and it seems to be working). The adapter screw helps keep the pegs level when down instead of sagging -- a nice touch. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(1 stars) reviewed on 06/24/05 bybloomz (bloomzie) from corvallis, OR, United States, for a 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: These suck bad with the rear floorboards on a 1800 Retro. They should be flat on the back and they are rounded so the boards fold up where they shouldn't. I regret saving $20 or so and not getting Cobra boards cuz they are flat on the back and don't bounce up and down in the bracket. I wrote to Kuryakin my frustration and they never bothered answering. Had to use old pins because new ones were bigger than predrilled holes, other than that worked great. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
