I had to drill out the mounting holes on my 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 frame in order for the mounting bolts (supplied with the adapters) to be used. Once the holes were drilled out, installation was pretty straight forward other than it was hard to tell what direction/postion the "D" spacer should face.

No brainer, you need these if you want to install the new pegs. Just be sure you order the right one for your exact model of bike!!! Order one (1) as two come per order! I say, naturally, BUY'EM!
