The appearance of the part is great. It has a nice finish, and is VERY solid. I am VERY disappointed that Kuryakyn quality control is willing to ship a part that doesn't really fit the bike and that mounting holes in the bracket are not large enough to accept the hardware. I picked up this bracket for my '96 Honda VT1100C and perhaps I was mistaken to assume a direct bolt on for the part since I used the Kuraykyn recommended part for the bike. To make the part work I first had to have the mounting holes on the bracket widened to accept the Kuryakyn supplied bolts. Then I had to have the mounting holes lengthened to fit the actual bolt spacing on my forks. I really think that since Kyryakyn made the mount for their light they would make sure that the mounting holes are large enough for the suppled hardware. Not to mention making sure that the hole spacing is appropriate for the Model/year of machine they specify. After I had the part remachined to fix what Kyrakyn had neglected, it works like a charm.
