(5 stars) reviewed on 07/09/06 bySpecht78 (Specht78) from Baltimore, MD, United States, for a 2004 - Black 1100 V-Star Custom wrote: This is a must have if you replace the stock turn signals with the Kuryakyn Silver Bullets. They will not function as Run and Turn Signals without it. It is made for Harleys but just cut off the connecter and splice into it. The directions tell you what each color wire goes to. 10 minute install! Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

For a couple of bucks you can make a wiring harness that will work. It is simple, make a "Y" harness and put a diode in one leg of the "Y" plug the diode in the blinker wiring on the bike. Works like a champ. Less than 5.00 to make. I removed the Kurakyn controller from my bike. It was a pain to get to work. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. (1 stars) reviewed on 02/12/04 byCopperheadX (Sam-1) from Ewa Beach, HI, United States, for a 1800 VTX1800C wrote: It took a while to figure out how to correctly install this part. I even had to have a Honda serviceman look at it. It took about 3 hours to be SURE it was correct. After everything was connected and I rode for a while the back lights flickered and went out when I hit a bump. This product is JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY IT!!! There are better products out there that will eliminate the tail light and incorporate the signals. This was made for a Harley anyway thet them deal with it. Used this unit with the small bullet lights for the front. Also bought the universal part (# 4860) run/turn/brake unit for the rearsmall bullet lights. Awsome...
