Had a fixed box on the other bike and decided to try something different on this ride. I really enjoy it so for. Review Details 0 out of 1 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 04/06/06 bySteve Metzger (SAMetzger) from Walker, LA, for a 2005 Midnight Black 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: I've taken a few overnighters with this bag and found it to be a great travel companion! The strong plastic interior shelving frame makes the difference for it to hold its shape, to organize your stuff, to look good, and it can serve as a great backrest (when riding one up). The collapsible top section is another nice feature when it's not completely stuffed. I also like the rolling wheels and strap. (One slight neg: because of the stiff material, the zippers on the side pockets are a little difficult to manage around the corners so a little lube helps that.) For one person it has more than enough space for overnight trips. For two its full capacity will be needed (along with the saddlebags). Review Details 6 out of 6 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 09/04/05 byJess (GhislainS) from Orléans, ON, Canada, for a 2005 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: This is a very useful bag as its double zipper system lets you gain access to it from any location. Its plastic shelving keeps the bag from sagging and facilitates storing. Instead of using a barrel, this bag can be extended from the top if extra room is need. If not, it can be folded down. As this bag is not waterproof, a liner stored in a designated pocket, can be easily taken out in case of rain. Its multiple attachments, keeps the bag from moving around. The Velcro system that wraps around the sissy bar pad is strong, but thinks that a zipper like the T-Bag brand would do a better job. The wheels are functional but the straps make pulling the bag difficult. Pockets from different shapes found on the sides are well thaught of. Multiple plastic loops found on the bag, leaves you with more options when using bungee cords. Review Details 6 out of 6 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Plenty of room for extended trip. Rode in major rainstorm - put on the rain cover and everything stayed dry. Plenty of rings for different tie down configurations. (4 stars) reviewed on 06/02/04 byBill (chinook48) from Enterprise, AL, United States, for a 2005 1600/1700 Road Star Silverado wrote: I have made several trips since the purchase and it has proven to be well worth the money. Holds everything I need for weekend trips, plenty of compartments and very durable. The wheels are great, but the strap for pulling the bag should have been adjustable.
