(5 stars) reviewed on 05/31/09 byHarley (HarleyB) from Yukon, OK, United States, for a Red Wine Burgundy 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: Main zipper is a little hard to pull open. You need a backrest that is more square so you can mount this to your bike. (If it looks like this /\ forget it) Since I do not have a rear seat, and my MC rear back rest is three piece, I got square tubing correct size and had it welded to fit into the backrest brackets (its removable from bracket), and then just slide the bag over it and tied it down with provided straps. This bag will hold a lot of clothes if packed right, and the side pockets well, anything you want like flashlites, etc. Nice bag with all the camping gear I carried I was a bit top heavy. Didn't get into any rain, so all was dry, if it does rain this bag is said to keep your stuff dry. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Main section nicely reinforced, lots of external pocket storage, like the top expandable section. Easy fit to bike (I have National Paladin backrest and luggage rack). Can't wait to use it. It looks solid and K has a good rep so I'm sure it will be durable - hence my guess at that rating - but won't really know for sure for a couple of years. The wheels don't work with the Honda back rest, but otherwise, it mounts solid. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 02/11/05 byJimmy (jimbo69) from Dawson, GA, United States, for a 2005 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: Nice, big bag! My friend bought one and after seeing it I knew I had to have one. The shelves make it real nice to access something without having to empty the bag. Also has built in wheels. The rain flaps on the zippers are a little tight, making it difficult to open the zippers on the side pouches. I figure these will loosen up with usage. The collapsible top compartment will hold a full face or two shortys easily. Review Details 5 out of 5 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Lots of room for about anything you want to carry, even riding 2-up. More straps than needed, but too much security isn't a bad thing. Be sure to load heavy items in the bottom to avoid being top heavy. Review Details 6 out of 6 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 11/07/03 byLynn (diggerlga) from Litchfield, MN, United States, for a 2003 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: This thing is great! Has lots of room. Very stable on rider's seat. The only drawback to date are the straps on the side and the zippers when making the corners. I can see no real value in the straps. They may be useful if one doesn't have saddlebags. I'm keeping a close eye on the plastic D-rings. So far, no problems. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
