I use this on my passenger seat and it works exactly as described. I am 5'5" and do not have any trouble reaching the back rest pad....which is GREAT during long hauls! LOVE the room in this bag and the 50 thousand easy to access pockets. Nice investment (and this bag also fits rather nicely on my boyfriend's HD Road King luggage rack behind his sissy bar).
