I thought the add was unclear and I did not know that I would have to drill a hole in the existing brake pedal, to install this part. When I got it I thought it was not for my bike. Lucky I read all these reviews and found this part used by others for my 2006 Roadstar 1700. So I guess it does fit if you have the drill, bit, and knowhow to "make it work". Now how do you keep it from sliding around on your old pedal with only one screw to hold it in place? I used double back tape. We will see! With all that, it looks great and I would buy it again, I just wish the instructions were clearer.

I went with this pedal after reading the reviews on the Yamaha replacement. Had to drill a hole in the pedal and added a lock washer for safety. Looks really good on the bike.

This is a good looking piece that compliments all the other Kuryakyn stuff i already had on the bike while allowing me to lose that huge chunk of rubber that Yamaha uses as a brake pedal cover. Requires the drilling of one hole in the brake pedal to place the mounting bolt through.
