Looks much better than the stock black blob of a pedal. The 2000 pedal uses a pivoted and spring-loaded pressed steel plate with indents underneath to exactly fit the 2 screws of the stock pad. It's shaped more like a tray than a pad. Nice chrome and rounded edges but darn near impossible to work with. The hole of the Kuryakyn pad is under the left of the 3 rubber pads. The rubber pad itself is left unattached with a self-adhesive backing. This hole however doesn't line up with any of the existing holes and drilling a hole to suit would mean a hole going thru an angled surface of the pedal making bolting impossible. I removed the centre rubber pad instead, drilled and countersunk a new hole under it and drilled a matching hole between the two existing holes on the brake pedal. Once bolted together, it's solid and looks great. By the way, the Kuryakyn pad is wider than the Vulcans press metal pedal and water will get under and collect inside.
