(3 stars) reviewed on 05/01/11 byRick Madden (timberman) from Singleton, , Australia, for a 2008, maroon and cream. 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Easy to fit and look good. Down side I found it hard to change gears shifter to close to boards. Have taken them off. Would be better with a heal- toe shifter. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 02/28/11 by(olpono) from , , for a 2006 750 Shadow Aero wrote: There amazing. I put them on the other day and they look amazing on my bike. They especially look great if you already have or are planning on getting some highway bars. Honestly the were very easy to put on considering i was nervous with all the End of days installment reviews about it. Only thing is watch for the ball and spring when you pull the plate off the mount. Other than that they are great and very comfortable. They do stick out but look awesome especially like i said with highway bars. The best part is they are the only platforms that will fit with a heel shifter sold off of ebay for like 30 bucks. (3 stars) reviewed on 07/12/10 by(silvercastle) from New Albany, IN, United States, for a 2007 750 Shadow Aero wrote: They are nice boards. They are on the smallish side but do the job nicely. The only down side I see is that they do extend out further than I like. My foot gets stuck between the board and the body of the bike when I am shifting. Other than that they are good boards. (4 stars) reviewed on 04/06/08 by(presley311) from INDIANAPOLIS, IN, United States, for a 2007 Pearl White 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Love them. Nice that they move your foot out about 2 inches from the OEM pegs. I don't have heel toe shifter and don't plan on buying one. wish the shifter was better. going to look at buying a new one. Very easy to install did it myself. Careful on the lock ball it will shoot out on you during install :) Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? (5 stars) reviewed on 09/26/07 by(ssharp) from , , for a 750 Shadow Aero wrote: I REALLY ENJOY THIS ITEM. IT DRESSES UP THE BIKE. MAKE CERTAIN YOU HAVE THE ANGLE ADJUSTED TO YOUR FEET BEFORE YOU USE LIQUID METAL TO "SET" THE SPLINE ADAPTERS. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THESE AND THEY LOOK GREAT! THEY WILL FOLD BACK JUST LIKE YOUR PEGS WHICH IS A NICE FEATURE IF YOU SHOULD "BUMP" INTO SOMETHING. HEAVILY CONSTRUCTED AND GOOD CHROME. THE RUBBER TREADS ARE WELL MADE AND WORK WELL. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THESE FLOOR BOARDS. Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
