Very comfortable for those long rides, just be sure that you don't want to change your handle bars later as you will need to buy new grips. So if you are going to switch to a drag bar, apes etc, do that change first as you will not be able to remove these grips once they are on. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

These Kuryakyn grips give the bar a fuller feel and so far I expect them to help reduce fatigue at least a little. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Bougth at a local dealer and had them attempt to install, since they said no problem we can put them on in a few minutes, well a few minutes turned into an hour and I had to figure it for them. (DVaerst) from Saint Michael, MN, US, for a 2009 750 Shadow Spirit C2 wrote: Great Grips - Be Careful With Installation!!!Kuryakyn makes great products - ISO grips included. I wanted a pair of ISO grips to match the ISO foot pegs I installed last Fall. Grips feel great and reduce vibration, not to mention they add more chrome and "class" to my bike. Installation: Read the installation directions very carefully as the glue sets up INSTANTLY if you stop moving the grip at all. I made the mistake of applying glue to the throttle housing along with the inside of the grip (This is how it was done on the CruiserCustomizing.com video) - not good. The glue on the throttle housing started "plowing" and had I continued pushing, I would have glued the throttle side grip to the housing, making the throttle inoperable. That was a $70 mistake because once I stopped pushing the grip onto the handlebar, it glued instantly, and about two inches from where it needed to be. I had to literally cut the grip apart (destroying it) in order to remove it from the throttle housing...

I considered going black but you can't beat the classic chrome version of these grips. Even though they are big for the size of my hand they are comfortable as there is minimal vibration. Definitely a no brainer buying these Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I have never felt a more comfortable pair yet, and I don't see any reason to even look for it. I love that I have better control, and grip with these even in less then idea weather. I love the extras you can add to these as well very customizable. I think you would have to be crazy not to get a pair for your bike. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 09/18/12 by(sbizkit38) from Brook Park, OH, United States, for a 2005, Blue & Black 750 Shadow Aero wrote: I just put these on my Areo, let me tell you, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I have bigger paws than your average bear, so the stock grips felt like I was holding a tricycle grip in my hand. These grips are nice and "beefy". Take your time when you put these on, do a couple of dry runs, and think about how you want them to be mounted. Once you add the glue, you might have 45 seconds before the point of no-return! Figure out the position that best suits you, clean all of the glue off, get everything ready and add your glue to one at a time and put them on. One thing that I did, I used the old inner chrome piece on the throttle side to draw a circle on a piece of thin cardboard. Then I cut the circle out and slipped it over the handle bars. Then I installed the grip. The reason is I didn't want the glue to gather on the outside of the grip and glue my throttle to the switch housing(just in case). I love the look and feel of these grips. Tip on the install: Leave 2 of the end cap screws out when you slide them on, this allows the air to escape and makes the install easy. Get the throttle boss too. You won't regret it. Twist the throttle side grip clockwise to make sure it gets all the way down without gluing first. I had bought a pair of these and completely f'd up the right side install. Had to order factory direct the one side and re do the install. Sanding off your old glue is key. All good looking now though and very comfortable. Review Details Was this review helpful to you?
