It was really simple, if you have any mechanical experience at all. They took all the vibrations out my ride from the handlebars. I have a vlx and they are known to be buzzy at highway speeds. I bought the model specific version, and not the Universal. As such the throttle side install was a huge pain in the a$$. Overall Love them! If I could do it over, I would have bought the universal which uses the stock throttle sleeve. Just could not generate enough slack in the throttle cable to install.
