Bought these (6240) Grips along with the contoured throttle assist for my 94 honda shadow 1100 spirt. They are great looking and very comfortable. Took less than 20 minutes to remove stock grips and install these follow easy instructions or watch cruisers video its a breeze.

These grips definitely dampen vibration, but after about 2 years of use(10000 miles), they are shot. The glue came undone on one, and they both give you black hands from the rubber breaking down. I need replacements already, don't know if I'll choose these again though.

Excellent addition. Needed larger grips. Installation was easy as can be. Just cut the old OEM grips off(what ya gonna do with them anyway)clean off the old glue, get a fix on where you want the ISO's to be and glue them on. I used "Gorilla Glue", gives you a bit of time for minor adjustments. Just remember "Gorilla Glue" expands. Go spairingly or you will have it coming out from under the grips.

Removing the stock grips was easy with a 3/16 flat blade screwdriver and a few squirts of WD40. The stock end cap on the right unscrews and the left side is glued on. After you get the caps off, push the flat blade between grip and bar then squirt a little WD in the gap.Walk the screwdriver around entire grip then twist it off the bar(or throttle sleeve). Clean off factory adhesive with OOPS! cleaner.Sand BOTH sides to rough them up then follow instructions.Take your time to adjust grip position before you put on the glue.If the grips are a bit too long you can move the switch boxes instead of using the tubing supplied.I used a thin piece of duct tape to locate the seam on the switch housings. UPDATE.Like the grips, took a little time to get used to them but worth the effort.

Comfortable grips and worth every penny. Bought them for a week vacation ride. But get someone who knows how to remove the old ones. Can be too much trouble if you don't what you're doing.
