Bougth at a local dealer and had them attempt to install, since they said no problem we can put them on in a few minutes, well a few minutes turned into an hour and I had to figure it for them. (4 stars) reviewed on 08/23/12 byMark (msibincic) from Hanover Park, IL, United States, for a 2004 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: Make sure your bars are sanded down of all old glue. Twist the throttle side grip clockwise to make sure it gets all the way down without gluing first. I had bought a pair of these and completely f'd up the right side install. Had to order factory direct the one side and re do the install. Sanding off your old glue is key. All good looking now though and very comfortable. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? (4 stars) reviewed on 10/13/11 by(jimanddana) from , LA, for a 2003 750 Shadow ACE wrote: Love these but they weren't as easy to install as we thought. Glue dries really quickly. the first one went on well but too close to the bar so we pulled back and ended up with a small gap. it's not bad. I called Customer Service to see if they could tell me how to remove and reinstall and they said they couldn't help me. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
