The grips are too big..I should have read the last line that the grips """FIT""" some cruise control....Oh well Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(2 stars) reviewed on 03/04/10 byMary Przyojski (MaryP) from Columbus, OH, for a 2004 800 Marauder wrote: Nice grips. Can't understand why they were covered in a white greasy substance upon arrival. Attempted to clean them and the more I rubbed a soft cloth over them the worse they became. Grips are a little bulky. Would be nice if they were smaller. (2 stars) reviewed on 08/20/08 byaconcogua mcdaniel (brandonjmc) from San Antonio, TX, United States, for a 2006 900 Vulcan Classic wrote: These grips are a nice improvement over the stock grips. I seem to have gotten the worst 2 they made though. After 3 months, my right grip's chrome started coming off. The rubber on my left one is breaking down prematurely as well. The 2 grips have different issues, but have been in the exact same environment. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(2 stars) reviewed on 01/01/08 byAustin (aophil) from , , United States, for a 2005, White, 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: A huge pain in the *$$ to install. The glue sets too quickly, barely giving you enough time to put the grip all the way on the handlebar before it's stuck in place. Took me two tries to get the left one all the way on. The right one is a pain because you have to grind the ribs off the throttle sleeve. They looked pretty nice once I finally got them on, but now that I've had them for about a year, the rubber is starting to fall apart, leaving black marks on my hands when I ride. The rubber just cant withstand the texas heat, I guess. I don't recommend this item. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(2 stars) reviewed on 01/14/06 byMike Smith (mismith356) from Clermont, FL, United States, for a 2004 Tan & Raspberry 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: Not thrilled. Fit of throttle cables into right side grip is not as good as is the case with factory grips. The chrome platting on the ends of the grips (removable end pieces) is chipped and starting to peels. I never ride in rain and my bike is garaged, I could maybe understand the plating coming off if I left the bike outside in the elements but I don't. I wouldn't buy these gribs again. (2 stars) reviewed on 09/09/05 byFrank (my05v100) from Temecula, CA, United States, for a 2005 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: This item is good for looks and confortable, but if you have small hands it may not be that confortable, it may be harder to reach the break and clutch levers. Also the rubber inserst sometimes move out of place. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(2 stars) reviewed on 12/21/04 byFogLlama (fogllama) from Addison, TX, United States, for a 1997 800 Vulcan Classic wrote: Tried the non-destructive throttle side and found I prefer the stock Kawasaki grips. So I never installed the destructive "glued" side. Being too lazy to return the grips or sell them on ebay, they will now collect dust for a few years until I eventually throw them in the trash. (2 stars) reviewed on 07/14/04 byGr8Music (Gr8Music) from Milwaukee, WI, United States, for a 2003 1500 Vulcan Nomad Fi wrote: I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the ISO grips - they're not nearly the same quality (plastic) as the pegs and the rubber pads are "squishy", probably to help dampen the vibrations from those Milwaukee paint mixers. I'm not sure if I'm going to like the feel. I installed the throttle side only to try for a couple of days to decide if I want to keep them since the clutch side requires destroying the original grip. I'll edit this review in a few days.
