So far, I like the throttle boss because I don't seem to be having hand fatigue on long rides. It's a sturdy, well-built piece of hardware and is easy to install. I did notice that it changes how I pressure the handlebar when I turn. Instead of pressing with the heel of my palm, I'm using the palm area between my thumb and index finger. Be sure to keep the long screws that come with it, if you ever take it off to put on another bike. A friend sold her bike and kept her throttle boss, but not the long screws.
