I received the 7999 thinking I was getting the 7993's. The knuckle cracked right away so now I have to contact CC again. They were great "Trish" about replacing them. I even got the 7993's. Really like them. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The chrome needs some attention in the spring, but after three summers they still loks good. Buy the adjustable brackets and make sure you protect the bar as you try to adjust. The alan bolts need tightening evey few months Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Since I'm only 5' 10" with a 30" inseam, the offset adjustability was just the ticket. The clamp bolts came with Never Seize lube pre-applied; once I found the right setup, I cleaned the lube from the end of the bolts and applied 2 drops of Loctite red to the last 4 threads based on what others said about loosening. It took 11 days to receive the order (UPS Ground) but I placed it late Friday on the 4th of July weekend. The order (pegs & ISO grips) was well packaged and undamaged. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the ISO grips - they're not nearly the same quality (plastic) and the rubber pads are "squishy", probably to help dampen the vibrations from those Milwaukee paint mixers. I can put the ball of my foot on the peg with my heel on the floor board, or my foot all the way out on the peg to get a nice draft up the pant leg on hot days. They work great with my Pro-Tac back rest and Drag Specialties risers (for HD w/metric adapters). Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
