(4 stars) reviewed on 03/03/08 byDan (supv26) from Salem, MO, United States, for a 2003 Red with Maroon Flames 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: Great light and well constructed. The workmanship of the material is great. The finsih couldn't get any better too. Be carefull when installing the mounting bolt. If the area you mount it on is not very thick then the bolt goes all the way inside the socket and will contact the bulb. I just added a few stainless steel washers to my mounting point and cured that. The instruction says to cut the bolt off. I gave it a moderate rating for installation because I had such a time finding brackets to mount to my forks. The Kury P clamps would not work for me. I bought fork mounted clamps from CruiserFX. Mine had 20 watt bulbs in them. I called Kury and they explained they will handle 35 watt ok but was advised not to use 50 watt in them. The bulbs look like GE MR-16 12 volt. Those can be purchased at any hardware store. The 20 watt bulbs work great! They are bright and will light up the road. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. If you care check with the local police before mounting them as turn signals. not DOT approved. but hell nothing not OEM is. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 11/08/03 byIronhead (BrettCross) from Saratoga, CA, United States, for a 2002 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: Very sweet product that I used on my Sabre as front turn signals. Used with bracket from Squeeky Lizard (chrome for $65). Could use as high beam lighting support (probably not DOT OK). Very adaptable to many applications. Make sure you ground these well as my first ap didn't work until I connected to the stock ground harness and didn't depend on the ground screw at the rear of the bucket. The Kury run/turn controller didn't work used them only as directionals for now. Looking for a way to use them as both running and directionals... Review Details Was this review helpful to you?
