I had to replace those on my Shadow a few years ago , b/c the passenger pegs kept falling down.Passenger pegs are my Harley are actually VERY tight and require some effort to put them down.Which is fine , b/c I don't have a passenger seat !! LOL

    My pegs have a square-edged tab washer that fits between the peg pivot point and the mounting clamp, and it needs to be sufficiently tightened at the clamp for this tab washer to cause some friction at the pivot point.
