This way it is pretty much hidden by the tach so the bright lights aren't as distracting. A little lean to the side make it easy to see. Connected the leads inside the headlight assembly. Just drill a small hole,run the wire through,remount the cover and it looks like it came with the bike. LED's are bright even in the daylight,good buy. Just make sure you ground it right..
