(3 stars) reviewed on 03/20/11 by(happyontwo) from , , United States, for a 2002 1500 Vulcan Classic wrote: A nice looking addition, a big improvement over stock. I gave this product three stars because the screw caps made to mount the backing plate to the bike were machined to fit stock screws and not to the pan head screws provided. The stock screws have a petruding head that makes the plate stick out a bit. I also hade to drill through and trim the plate to fit and frame and install. (3 stars) reviewed on 02/20/11 by(kato12) from , , United States, for a 2004 800 Vulcan Classic wrote: Pretty nice for the price. The backplate is a little too wide across on the narrow dimension, that is, if mounted horizontally it is a little too tall to fit inside the frame. Other than that, I had to drill a couple of holes to mount to my bike's plate mount but I expected that. For the price, if you are willing to do a little work, it is a big upgrade from the stock plastic bracket. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
