Even my stock mirrors didn't have 2 screws on the chrome side (the most visible side). Spend a little extra on some stealth mirrors (no visible screws) it will be worth it. Or stick with the stock mirrors. i returned mine. Review Details 2 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 06/02/05 byMike Eckman (eckmanmj) from Chicago Heights, IL, United States, for a 2005 1600 Vulcan Mean Streak wrote: Nice looking mirror that is actually functional. I am all about appearance, but not at the expense of fuction and more importantly, safety. The stock Mean Streak mirrors are adequately big enough, but the stems are too short, and while riding, I end up looking at my own shoulders. I bought these because I was told they would give me better visibility, but they don't. The mirrors themselves are still smaller than the stock ones, and the stems are almost exactly the same length. As far as aftermarket mirrors go, they look good and arent any worse than stock, so I am still happy with them. Just dont expect these to offer you any better visibility than stock. Make sure you get the convex glass if you really are concerned with side visibility. Dont forget the metric adapters. Review Details 7 out of 7 members found this review helpful. They do not stick out farther than stock, as I hoped they would. But they do look fancy. Cruiser Customizing took a long time to get these to me. And one can broken. They replaced it, as they should, but that took a while longer than it should have. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
