As per many other member reviews I also had a good year or two before the Clock Stopped working. I replaced the battery (CR2025)but had no luck in getting the clock to operate. I set the clock aside for almost 8 months and was ready to order a new clock when I decided to take the clock apart once again, but this time I took the second set of 4 screws since I had nothing to lose. And behold I found that the clock had a second battery (SR626SW)I replaced this second battery for under 2 bucks, and the unit has been working great ever since. The larger battery CR2025 is for illumination and the small SR626SW (377) is for the clock function.
