I purchased both the thermometer and the clock. Both installed easily. The installation instructions on this website were much easier to follow than those included with the product.

Question & Answers:

    Handlebar measurement

    Hello,
I'm just wondering how to measure the handlebars for this item.  I would have thought it would be the circumference (diameter size) but 1" doesn't seem to make sense.

    Hi Scarlett,
Diameter is measured across the bar rather than around the bar which is circumference. The V-Stars have a 1 inch diameter bar. This particular Marlin clocks are made for 7/8" or 1 " diameter bars.

    To help measure the diameter:
1: Cut a strip of paper at least 4 inches long
2: Wrap the paper around your bars, marking the paper where it overlaps itself.
3: Measure the distance around (circumference of) your handlebars using the paper.
4: Use the table below for a fairly accurate guess of your handlebar's diameter:
    Circumference versus Diameter
    2 3/4" (69.85 mm) = 7/8" diameter
    3 1/8" (79.375 mm) ?= 1" diameter
    4" (101.6 mm)) ?= 1 1/4" diameter

    Cheers, Steve
