significantly brighter than stock - installs same as stock - used as a replacement when I lost the hi-beam portion of my stock bulb, but would recommend installation anytime because of the improvement in visibility for me and oncoming traffic

I hadn't seen how bright and nice looking these bulbs were, until I saw one of them on a friend's bike.....nice looking, the purple tint can be seen depending on the angle you catch the headlamp for a view........hoped it to be a little brighter
