Instead of the clamp mount I had the male mount that fit the stock receiver. Very tedious instal if you have the racheting type offset. The reason is you end up with four different adjustment angles. Luckily my girlfriend was there to help with the positioning. The important thing is she says they are more comfortable with the lower and forward position. Had to order each part individually and ended up missing the bracket on the end of the pilot peg. Great product - good quality. I found out after I installed that I actually am not really using the offsets - the comfortable spot puts the pegs right next to the highway bars, so I could have gotten away with a straight bracket. Another nice quality item from Kuryakyn, and the Offset Mounts allow for various positions. I placed the pegs with the rubber parts forward. so that the exposed screws wouldn't show. Kinda gotten used to the "winged" look of the pegs and have forgotten about the set screws. Gonna put these on my new VTX1300 when I get the new highway bars on it.What a great looking set of pegs....UNTIL....you see the leading edge. BUTT ugly set screws leading the way. I have to say that I am disappointed with how they look from the front of the bike. As much as I like the look of the pegs from the seat, they really are nasty looking from the front. At some point I'll replace them with the Retro pegs. The clamps and offsets are fine. Still tweeking the adjustment to get the pegs positioned just right.
