Passive yet attractiveBit of a pain to install due to the terrible instructions. The Vacuum T actually taps into the right side of the bike. The instructions have you follow a hose that you can't follow. Behind the exposed wiring harness running from the handle bars you will find two vac hoses. remove the splice and add the T. Careful! The supplied T is plastic. Also, the coil wires don't have alot of extra length. I mounted them backwards to get the lenth I needed. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Couldn't wait to receive and fitted it the same day as receiving. BUT.....with in minutes, after sitting on bike, decided to remove from motorcycle. The extent that this hypercharger extends out from the side of the bike, to me, makes the bike's operations unsafe. To have to modify the brake (extend further from bike) is not an answer as this then reduces ground clearance when cornering. Sorry, NOT for me! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Brian King (KawBoy73) from Nicholasville, KY, United States, for a 2004 White 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: Installed this with the power commanderIII and Cobra speedster long exhaust. The combo made a noticeable power increase in the 50 mph-ish range and now sounds like a v-twin should. Toughest part of install was hooking up the vacuum line that operates the butterflies. Kind of hard to reach and had to use a long thin set of needle nose pliers. Also had to cut the stock crossover tube with a hacksaw to get it out. Once you do this, there's no turning back!
