(5 stars) reviewed on 09/19/11 byBob Zambrano (bzambrano) from Comstock, TX, United States, for a Black 2009 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: Have had this product for about 2 weeks. Had the local shop install it. After reading other reviews, I bought a 3/16 fuel line to be used as a replacement for the vaccume line. My bike seems to run a bit better, have not noticed any more power and the fuel milage has not changed. Still getting about 40mpg. I run Vance & Hines slip on mufflers and now with the carbs being rejetting I have no popping when I down shift or reduce speed. I'm very happy with this purchase even if it is an expensive (product + installation) Bling!!! I would highly reccomend this product!! Oh yea, it does, sort of, get in the way of my leg and my foot on the rear brake pedal. But this is nothing that can't be fixed or gotten use to!! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? If you're not sure on how to install it, have the dealer do it (its not an easy job for average Joe). My opinion on this: It's worth the price... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? I am not sure of how much power this adds as I have not had it tested, but it did add 20% to the distance I can go on the highway, while driving the way I did before I installed this item. (3 stars) reviewed on 09/11/07 bymike (mikvrro) from modesto, CA, United States, for a 2006 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: The hypercharger is nicely made and looks very cool. Install is not difficult even though the instruction are not that great. The tough part is getting the jetting correct. I added the hypercharger and Bubs Big willy pipes at the same time. I installed the jets included and adjusted the needle jet and it still runs lean. I am in the process of experimenting with jet sizes. The biggest problem with this unit is connecting the rubber tube to the air box. It is very difficult to get it to stay on. Having to take the unit off each time to change the jets is a real pain. I have also tried the pod filters and think they have much more performance potential but miss out on the cool look. Installing a non-funcional hyperchager would be totaly uncool !
