Clearly plastic accessory (which isn't great) and stays on with double-sided tape (also not great and makes me nervous in terms of falling off). However, the piece is attached to the break caliper using double sided adhesive tape. It covers up the caliper mounting bolt and therefore is a pain when you got to service your breaks. I was expecting something better from KUR. Update: Piece will eventually break when removed too often from the caliper; would not buy this piece of plastic again.
