Needed to replace the amber bulbs on my bike. These red bulbs DO NOT fit on my 2005 SILVERADO VSTAR1100 as the "socket" had been changed since 2005. The "socket" for 1999 thru 2004 VSTAR's have the little knobs to secure the bulb at 180 degrees and these bulbs have them at approximately 120 degrees. I partially "filed" one of the knobs on the bulbs and so far they have been working fine...

These red bulbs turned my turn signals from the amber to red, since I have the clear lens in them. This with another item turned my rear signals into red running lights and they flash three times when I apply my brake. They still work primarly as turn signals, but also make the bike a lot more visible.
