Nice and functional. Mounted on the left side using the rear horn mount bolt. Used 3/8" ID fuel line to run to the crankcase. Looks good.

After using a different filter placed under the tank, decided to use a breather filter exactly like this one, but "no name" brand. You see, some small oil drops were falling on the front cylinder, so I bought this one & placed it where the back horn used to be (well on the Wild Star-European Road Star there is no back horn, but the bracket is still there). You will also need a longer line to attach the filter to the cylinder & a bolt (I prefer an allen head). Used a 0,8/1mm ID, 1m. long fuel line routed along the backbone, down in between the side covers (entrance point under the seat) & then to the filter. Be careful not to pinch the line, while placing the seat & you can also use the U-shape bracket near the horn bracket to secure the position of the line. This piece of chrome looks real nice down there!

I like the way the piece looks like a custom part. We'll see how it preforms and how much of a mess it makes I ran the hose from the rear cylinder head to the left side of the bike throught the battery / side cover and mounted it to the rear bolt on the passenger footpeg. Use zip ties to secure the hose from rubbing and keep it away from moving parts. Looks clean.

Actually, not sure if I got this one or a very similar one... used 3/8" ID braided oil hose to run from crankcase vent to breather - no adapter needed. Mounted breather to threaded hole left by removal of AIS between the fork down tubes... used a cable guide on right downtube to hold it steady. It looks good and it stop the leakage all over my pipes!!

I installed this on my "04" Roadstar Midnight, looks great, easy installation. mounted it using one of the rear horn mounting bolts on lower left side. No more oil mist coating the bottom of the bike and swing arm. Gets a lot of comments and questions.
