Added a few wraps of electrical tape and dry fitted. TIP: add a little dishwashing liquid...it really helps with installation. The set screw is quite small and an allen wrench IS NOT INCLUDED. I found that two wraps on a Vulcan was all that was necessary. This would probably hold true for any cruiser that this item would not slip over.
